Faculty Positions

Under the supervision of the Head of School, a Trinity Hall teacher endeavors to achieve the academic, social, and spiritual formational goals of Trinity Hall. Full-time faculty are expected to teach four courses per academic year, serve as a leader to a student advisory group, and contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school. All faculty will play a vital role in the continued development, growth, and success of Trinity Hall.

She/he must be able to assume responsibility for the leadership and administration of the classes assigned; facilitate a positive academic and formational experience in the Catholic Tradition; create and organize a classroom that facilitates student learning and makes use of effective technology tools; provide for the safety and welfare of all students; teach in accordance with Trinity Hall and New Jersey Department of Education policies and guidelines; and show respect for all individuals and fairness in dealing with students and parents. We expect all candidates to have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the development needs of adolescent and teenage girls.

The following positions are available for the 2017-2018 school year.

Trinity Hall seeks experienced and passionate Science Teachers to join our STEM team, with a minimum of three years secondary school experience and an advanced degree in their subject area. The successful candidates will be able to teach multiple levels (including AP) of at least two of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Engineering, and/or Mathematics. STEM at Trinity Hall is studied by a student-centered, inquiry-based interdisciplinary approach that encourages active participation, collaboration, and 21st century skills. Students are empowered to take ownership of the material, making connections on their own and sharing their insights (and questions) with the group. This move from a lecture-based model to a collaborative approach challenges students to become risk-takers and transforms their analytical and research skills, preparing them for a lifetime of problem-solving.
Trinity Hall seeks experienced and passionate Math Teachers to join our STEM team, with a minimum of three years secondary school experience and an advanced degree in their subject area. The successful candidates will be able to teach multiple levels of Mathematics (including AP), and ideally, be capable and willing to teach a second discipline as well: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and/or Engineering. STEM at Trinity Hall is studied by a student-centered, inquiry-based interdisciplinary approach that encourages active participation, collaboration, and 21st century skills. Students are empowered to take ownership of the material, making connections on their own and sharing their insights (and questions) with the group. Trinity Hall seeks experienced and passionate Humanities Teachers with a minimum of three years secondary school experience and an advanced degree in their subject area. The successful candidates will be able to teach multiple levels (including AP) of at least two of the following subjects: English, History, and Theology. Trinity Hall’s Humanities Team empowers students to appreciate and understand the historical, cultural, theological, and literary contexts of their global society through an interdisciplinary approach that encourages 21st century skills.

Trinity Hall seeks experienced and passionate World Languages Teachers with a minimum of three years secondary school experience and an advanced degree in their subject area. The successful candidates will be able to teach multiple levels (including AP) of Spanish or French, and ideally, be capable and willing to teach the second language as well. The World Language courses at Trinity Hall facilitate a class structure built around the four main skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The classes aim for target language instruction only. Cultural comparisons, connections, and global outreach are a priority throughout the scope and sequence of the students’ language learning journey.

High School Biology Teacher – Leave Replacement (Fall 2017)

Staff Positions

Enrollment Coordinator for Admissions

Trinity Hall seeks an Enrollment Coordinator for Admissions with a minimum of one year experience in an admissions office (preferred) or within an educational setting. Preference will be given to applicants with college admission experience.

Job Title: Enrollment Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Advancement and Admissions
Position Status: Full-Time, 11-month position (start date is August 1, 2017)
Responsibilities: The Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the procedures for recruiting and enrolling new students, planning and implementing admissions events (open houses, entrance exams, student visit days, etc.), and daily operations support for the Admissions Office. Some evenings and weekends are required during the height of admissions season (September through January). The successful candidate will serve on the Admissions Committee and may also work with the Director of College Counseling.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and one year experience in an admissions office (preferred) or within an educational setting; MS Office and Google Cloud; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; organization and attention to detail; good sense of humor required.

Athletics Positions

Athletic Trainer

Trinity Hall has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate part-time athletic trainer to join our sports program. Successful candidates will be a Licensed-Nationally Board Certified NATA Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer and have some experience working with female athletes in a middle/secondary school setting. This candidate will provide athletic injury management and other health services for all athletes, and assist coaches with the design and implementation of injury prevention programs. This candidate will exhibit interpersonal skills in order to relate well with Trinity Hall student-athletes, coaches, administrators, parents, and visiting teams. The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and functions of the job and are not meant to be all inclusive.  
Primary responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Provide first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and/or reconditioning for high school student athletes.
  • Provide coverage for all home athletic practices and events and practices during all three athletic seasons, as well as coverage for away athletic events as assigned.  
  • Maintain communication with parents on the care and treatment of their student-athlete.
  • Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, emergency response and referrals.
  • File all necessary injury reports associated with athletic injuries and/or incidents.
  • Assist with the coordination and approval of annual physicals for all student athletes.
  • Provide Coaches and Athletic Director with the list of student athletes that are medically able to participate.
  • Oversee the ordering and supplies and equipment for the training room and maintain inventory. Provide Athletic Director with an annual budget for supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training room.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Licensed-Nationally Board Certified NATA Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer
  • CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care certification
  • Experience teaching and/or working in a high school setting is highly encouraged
