Biography

Maryanne Kain joined the faculty of Trinity Hall in 2018, after 22 years as World Language Department Chair and teacher of French, Spanish, Latin and Chinese at St. Rose High School. While there, she also served as director of both the fall drama and spring musical productions. As former Chair of the World Language Curriculum Committee for the Diocese of Trenton, Maryanne oversaw the development and implementation of K-12 curriculum. At Trinity Hall, Maryanne teaches French and Spanish, oversees Advisory 13, is the faculty advisor for the Academic Council and Mandarin Club, and serves as a mentor for new teachers.
 
Maryanne completed her undergraduate studies at Providence College, with the dual major of modern language and business administration. During this time, Maryanne also studied at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and the London School of Economics. Upon graduation, Maryanne entered the corporate world as a foreign exchange trader, while pursuing her MBA. After taking time off to raise her family, she once again returned to school for teaching certification and the degree of Master of. Education. Maryanne is a very proud Monarch!
