Stacy Stender » Biography


Stacy Stender is originally from Baltimore, MD but has most recently lived in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Stacy began teaching in 2003 at Mount St. Joseph High in Baltimore and has since traveled through Michigan, Virginia and Hawaii teaching physics, chemsitry, biology, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. At Trinity Hall, Stacy teaches physics, math III and calculus, and will also be a co-moderator for the book club.

Stacy holds a B.S in physics earned at Frostburg State, an M.S in mathematics earned at Towson University, and a MDE in distance education: teaching and training earned through the University of Maryland University College. Beyond her love of teaching and learning Stacy enjoys scuba diving, traveling and geocaching.
