Biography

Christina Advento was raised in Kansas and Texas by wanderlust parents. As an adult, she has lived all over the world, teaching at international and American schools in Cairo in Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai, UAE. She loves the "shore life" in Bradley Beach where she lives with her family.

A lifelong learner, Christina has earned a bachelor's degree in history, a secondary teaching certificate, a master's degree in literature, and a master's degree in library science from San Jose State University.

In her fourth year at Trinity Hall, Christina enjoys working on language and writing with her AP Language and Composition class, discussing books with Trinity Hall's Book Club, and watching her AP Psychology students apply class concepts to their lives. She advises Pen's Den, Trinity Hall's literary magazine, as well as the Academic Bowl club.
