Biography
Dr. Chester Chu joins Trinity Hall from New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School, where he taught all levels of chemistry and physics, and supervised the career shadowing program at the RWJ University Hospital. For the 2020-2021 school year, he is teaching AP Physics C and Honors Physics at Trinity Hall. He is also the faculty advisor for the chess club.
Prior to his high school teaching career, Dr. Chu worked in physics education research. He has taught every format of intro college physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including MIT’s inaugural physics MOOC on edX. Dr. Chu earned his B.S. in chemistry and B.A. in physics and applied mathematics at University of California, Berkeley, and Ph.D. in physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
