Biography

Miranda DeRobertis is the athletic trainer at Trinity Hall. Athletic trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who render service or treatment, under the direction of or in collaboration with a physician, in accordance with their education, training and the state's statutes, rules and regulations.  Services provided by athletic trainers include primary care, injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
 
Miranda was born and raised in Bergen County. She graduated with honors from Rowan University, earning her science degree in athletic training. Here she completed one year of residency at the secondary school setting and one year of residency at the collegiate athletic level, primarily focusing on the Rowan University softball and field hockey teams. 
 
Prior to coming to Trinity Hall, Miranda was the head athletic trainer for the New Jersey Hitmen Ice Hockey organization for several years. Here she worked closely with New York Presbyterian/Columbia University's sports medicine specialist caring for athletes ranging from 10 years old to high level division one commits. Miranda gained significant experience in sports-related concussion care and emergency injury evaluation/ treatment. 
 
In her free time, you can find Miranda with her nose in some corny novel about mythological creatures.
