Biography

  • BS, Interior Architecture San Jose State University, Northern California
  • Worked as a project manager at construction firms and architecture firms mostly in California and New Jersey
  • Currently the head coach at the USAG Xcel program at Spartan Gymnastics, Ocean
  • Coaching Experience: has over 18 years experience of coaching in both California and New Jersey; Head coach for Trinity Hall since fall 2020; Head USAG Xcel coach at Spartan Gymnastics in Ocean, coached USAG Level 3 team at Spartan.
 

Career Highlights: 

  • Was an elite gymnast at the age of 12 until college where she received a scholarship to complete for SJSU team. When she was an elite gymnast, she put in long hours and worked hard to make a life time goal happen, being an Olympian for the 1988 team, but due to an injury, missed the Olympic Trials by one meet. After healing, she put all her energy into getting a Division 1 scholarship.
  • College: Division I gymnast at San Jose State University. At SJSU she hold the uneven bars school record in 1992. She was one of two elite gymnasts on their team.
