Redefining MORE » Technology

Trinity Hall is a technology-rich learning environment. Faculty and students are encouraged to leverage technology to best support educational practices, foster communication, and assess student learning.

All students are issued a school Chromebook for use in their courses utilizing the Google Suite of products. Our Learning Management System (LMS), Schoology, allows for one dedicated system for information, course assignments, and faculty and student generated content for each class. This system integrates with our Student Information System (SIS), PowerSchool, which contains student data, including grades. PowerSchool access is given to families to view grades. For any period of remote learning, Zoom is the video conferencing platform through our branded education account that is administered by the school. In addition to these tools, students and faculty are encouraged to use a variety of educational software that is designed to enhance student learning. Faculty have been trained on these tools and many have presented at conferences on best practices for using these tools.
Each classroom has been outfitted with an OWL Meeting Pro, which provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the room and allows for the person speaking to be featured on screen. The OWL Meeting Pro works with Zoom and serves as a microphone and speaker for those in the room. The science labs and innovation spaces will be outfitted with a camera system as well as a document camera to maximize the student’s view of teacher-led experiments and teacher direction for art work. Tablets were purchased to assist faculty in utilizing online whiteboard applications.

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy as to Students: Trinity Hall admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
