Biography

Dana Kern is thrilled to be part of the Trinity Hall community as a humanities teacher, and is currently teaching AP World History and World History Honors. In addition, she serves as an advisor and is also a moderator for the Political Science Club and Video Game Club. Dana has taught at Trinity Hall since 2017, having formerly taught World History at Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung and also at the Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison. 
 
Dana earned her B.A. from College of the Holy Cross, where she majored in history and theatre. During her undergrad years, she interned with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, where she taught theatre to students ranging from elementary-aged through high school, and assisted with their productions. Eager to pursue her passion for teaching, Dana completed her M.Ed. at Boston College and has continued with a career in education ever since. A lifelong learner, she is dedicated to sharing her love for history with the young women of Trinity Hall.
 
When not at school, Dana enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
