Biography

Jennifer Havens joined our faculty in 2016 after a decade of teaching history at Sayreville War Memorial High School. At Trinity Hall, Jennifer is the dean for academics and teaches AP Government and Politics. 
 
Jennifer earned her Ed.M. in learning, teaching and instructional leadership from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, a B.A. in history and education from Kean University and an A.A. in social science from Brookdale Community College.

She is passionate in her support of teachers professional growth and using the latest research on how students learn best. Jennifer and her husband are life-long residents of Monmouth County. She is an avid reader (preferably at the beach!) and a mother of four, including Olivia '22 and Margaret '26.
