Melissa Whelan » Biography


Melissa Whelan, a graduate of an all-girls high school and an all-women’s college, was thrilled to return to her roots in single-sex education as a founding faculty member of Trinity Hall. As she enters her 25th year in education, Melissa is excited for her new role at Trinity Hall, Dean for Student Activities. Melissa enjoys working with the student council and planning a variety of events to enhance the educational experience of the Trinity Hall students. In addition, she teaches as a member of the humanities team and serves as the school's Registrar.

Melissa enjoys a variety of activities and loves to share those passions with the students. She assists the Crowning Crew on the costume team and loves to share her sewing skills with students. Often you will find her behind the lens at Trinity Hall events taking photographs to document Trinity Hall history. When not at school, Melissa enjoys visiting the National Parks and learning more about our country's history and enjoying its natural resources.
