Trinity Hall Flag Football Starts Season at Shore Conference Clinic

The Trinity Hall Flag Football team kicked off their season with a star-studded Saturday morning at the Shore Conference Girls Flag Football Clinic. Preparing for their season ahead, the team honed their football fundamentals with other teams in the league. While they were practicing, former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and current Giants quarterback Daniel Jones walked around the clinic, leading drills and giving pointers to the players.

The teams gathered around to hear from Manning and Jones who applauded the girls for being leaders in their flag football league, spoke about playing the game of football and wished them the best for their season ahead. Manning and Jones also had time for a Q&A session, and Trinity Hall senior Fiona C. asked about keeping communication with teammates on the field. Manning and Jones both answered, highlighting the importance of having your teammates’ backs and off-the-field connections. The team then met the two quarterbacks and took a group picture with them.

For the remainder of the clinic, the team rotated through different football drills led by the Shore Conference girls flag football coaches. The clinic was a great day of preparation and collaboration for the teams as they gear up for their season. The Monarchs’ second flag football season officially starts on Thursday, March 30 with their first game against St. Rose at Central Regional High School. Come out and support the Monarchs this spring! Full schedule here
