How does a virtual run/walk work?

  • First, register for the event of your choice: run the 5k, 10k or both with the Monarchs Challenge; or walk (with or without a furry friend) as many miles as you'd like in Mary's Walking Challenge during the event period. Kids 10 and under can register for the Mini Monarchs Fun Run and run or walk a distance of their choosing.

  • Next, join the private Facebook group! You'll find tips for beginner runners and experts alike, photo contests, event updates, and more.

  • Then, get moving! You can run or log your walks starting March 23, 2024, and make sure to snap a few photos along the way to share using #MOTR24.

  • Upload your results before midnight on April 8, 2024. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest runners in a variety of categories, and all walkers will have the chance to win big for most miles walked and more.

  • Finally, receive your exclusive race swag that includes new items for 2024 and feel good about supporting Mary's Fund for the Girls: Now and Forever!
New this year: Honor someone you love, who has had an impact on you or someone you admire! When you register for an event, add the name and submit a photo of your honoree to our Monarch Wall of Honor.
