Biography
JoAnn Layton has had the opportunity to teach STEM classes to middle school students for 15 years as an educator and joined Trinity Hall as an educator three years ago. This year, JoAnn will be teaching AP Environmental Science and freshman physics. Prior to this, JoAnn worked in industry for both the environmental and distribution sectors.
JoAnn graduated with a B.S. in environmental science from Rutgers University, an M.S. in environmental science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Education from Dowling College (located on Long Island). JoAnn is also an adjunct professor at Brookdale Community College and teaches Environmental Sustainability in the STEM Department.
JoAnn enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, mountain biking, surfing and skiing. Her two boys, Connor and Donovan, keep her busy on the weekends.
