Royal Record Recognized as National Yearbook Program of Excellence for the Third Consecutive Year

Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content, recently announced that Trinity Hall’s Royal Record has achieved the Jostens 2023 National Yearbook Program of Excellence award at the Bronze Level. The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.

The 2023 Trinity Hall Royal Record award-winning yearbook staff was led by student editors Ella Gorman ‘23 and Julia DiFeo ‘23 and junior editor-in-chief AnneMarie Brunetti '24, under the direction of faculty yearbook advisors Cathryn Danielczyk, Maryanne Kain and Brittany Orrico.

On the second page of the yearbook, the editors explain, “Since the beginning of Trinity Hall, the yearbook has been named The Royal Record. This year we decided to take the name literally. Our theme is ‘The Royal Record.’ Music is a large part of our lives and we wanted to bring it to life throughout the book. Music influences trends, captures memories, and makes our community who we are. Without music, we would not be able to  express ourselves in the amazing ways we do or share our stories. We hope you enjoy this year’s story as much as we do.”

This year’s yearbook stuck closely to its theme with nods to music throughout, such as pie charts showing each grade’s favorite music genre, famous album covers recreated with the Trinity Hall Monarch, a song chosen by each team and club as their anthem, lyrics throughout the book to introduce the pages, and four songs featured on the record on the cover to represent Trinity Hall’s four core values.

Jostens’ National Yearbook Program of Excellence Awards are presented twice a year, in spring and in fall based on the yearbook’s arrival date at the school. The award was presented to the Trinity Hall yearbook program for achieving defined criteria in between one and three of the following categories: creating an inclusive yearbook, generating school engagement, and successfully managing the yearbook creation process.

Congratulations to the staff of The Royal Record!
