Each year, Trinity Hall takes on the significant task of aiming to reach 100% student participation in The Fund for Trinity Hall, the school’s annual fund. The Fund for Trinity Hall bridges the gap between the tuition Trinity Hall students pay and the annual cost it takes for students to be educated. The Fund supports programming for students across disciplines including arts, athletics and school clubs, and also supports professional development for the faculty and staff.
The Student Annual Fund Committee, which now bears the name Development Delegates, was founded in order to encourage students to give towards The Fund each year. This was an extra special year for the Student Annual Fund; Development Delegate student leaders Taleen McOmber ’26, Maggie Hayser ’27, and Lily O’Connor ’27 helped the student body to reach 100% participation in record-breaking time.
Taleen McOmber ’26 gave her insights on this accomplishment, stating, “Achieving 100% participation from students, faculty and staff, and board members is a powerful statement of our shared commitment. It gives our school the institutional credibility to demonstrate to outside foundations and donors that we genuinely believe in our mission. I am incredibly proud to have co-led the Development Delegates in mobilizing this effort, showing that when everyone gives, regardless of the amount, we establish a standard of excellence that benefits every student.”
For this record breaking performance, the students graciously received a Head’s Holiday by Head of School Theresa. Kiernan. For reaching 100% participation in their class within one week, the senior and junior classes received a Rook coffee bar. Mrs. Knepple, Director of Development at Trinity Hall, is very proud of the girls and their accomplishments: “For the 13th consecutive year, Trinity Hall students achieved 100% participation in The Fund for Trinity Hall. With leadership from our passionate Development Delegates, our students rallied together to support The Fund in record time. We could not be prouder of, or more grateful for, our girls.”
Reaching 100% participation in The Fund from Trinity Hall from all students, especially in record-breaking time, was an amazing accomplishment for the students. This achievement showed how much each and every student truly cares about Trinity Hall. The Development Delegates and the Development team at Trinity Hall hope to instill the importance of giving to The Fund for Trinity Hall in the whole student body, so when students become alumni, they continue the tradition of giving back to Trinity Hall each year.
