Holiday Spirit Fills Trinity Hall Through Annual Christmas Festivities | Monarch Media

At Trinity Hall, it is tradition to ring in the holiday season with days filled with festivities and fun. The last week before Christmas break was the perfect way to send students and faculty off for the holidays. During this week, students engaged in themed accessory days, enjoyed treats sponsored by councils and wrapped up the activities with the most beloved tradition, Trinity Elves. This time of year is one of the most anticipated, with the 2025 season being no exception.

The most beloved holiday tradition in the Trinity Hall community is undoubtedly Trinity Elves, which runs throughout the holiday season. Starting in the beginning of December, the class presidents began the process of organizing Trinity Elves. In this tradition, students are assigned one person in their grade to give three separate gifts (one per week), all culminating in a big reveal and gift swap. Junior Class President Maggie Burns ‘27 stated, “Trinity Elves has always been my favorite tradition, and I loved putting the list together and being able to help bring our grade together for the reveal!” On December 18, all four grades engaged in their big reveal and gave their final gifts to each other.

Along with Trinity Elves, students can participate in a spirit week that takes place the week before break. This year, the week included a day for Christmas accessories and Christmas socks to wear with the school uniform. Students and faculty also had the opportunity to participate in an ugly sweater competition on one of the days. Finally, students were given a dress down day where the community dressed in their most festive Christmas pajamas. Lastly, advisories carried on the tradition of decorating doors with creative Christmas scenes. Advisory 6 won the competition, while Advisories 9 and 14 received honorable mentions.

The holiday season at Trinity Hall came to an end with the annual sing-along. Chorus led the community in singing some holiday favorites, filling the room with holiday cheer. Delaney Corrigan ‘26, one of the leaders of Chorus, shared, “Christmas at Trinity is truly something special and it was an awesome way to bring the community together for some holiday cheer!”

Overall, this festive week brought the community together as a final celebration before the two-week break, bringing joy into the new year!
