Trinity Hall Dance Company Presents Their First-Ever Dance Showcase | Monarch Media

On January 9, the Trinity Hall Dance Company, Dance Club, and feature alumnae students danced solos, duets, and group performances in the Commons for the first-ever Dance Showcase. Performers from every grade were given the opportunity to shine in front of the Trinity Hall community, showcasing their unique talents in the arts. The dancers had been working diligently since the summer to learn Trinity Hall choreography, on top of routines from their personal studios. Their work is commendable and their passion was clear in their performances!

The Dance Company, run by student leaders Celia Ekhelar ‘26, and Aoife Oldroyd ‘27, is in its first year of formation. Oldroyd shares, “The Trinity Dance Company and Club Showcase was a highlight in my student career at Trinity Hall. Getting to share my love of dance with my peers, teachers and community was truly so rewarding and filled me with joy. I am so proud of how hard everyone worked and can’t wait to continue next year!”

The showcase highlighted four group dances from the Dance Company of all different genres. Over the summer, members of the Company came together to work hard on the routines. From elegant lyrical performances to high energy hip hop routines, the dancers kept audience members captivated for the entire night. The team worked wonderfully together, and each dancer shined in her performances.

Alumnae Maggie Crowe ‘21, Sophia Deno ‘25, Jenna Falconite ‘21 and Catie Paesano ‘22 all returned to perform in the show. Additionally, they each choreographed a piece for the Dance Company over the summer and watched their hard work come to fruition at the showcase. Deno shared, “Getting to watch the Trinity Hall Dance Company grow and all the girls from different grades bond is truly amazing. I love watching the arts in Trinity Hall bring people together, and I can’t wait to see what the Dance Company does next.”

Bravo to all of the wonderful dancers who showed off their amazing talents at the Dance Showcase. It is truly remarkable to see this new program emerging at Trinity Hall. The Trinity Hall community is lucky to have such amazing and talented students!
