Trinity Hall congratulates the members of the Queen’s Court Company and Crowning who were nominated for the 2026 Basie Awards for their outstanding performances in the fall drama “The Book of Will” and the spring musical “Come From Away”. Every year, The Count Basie Center for the Arts hosts their annual Basie Awards, an award show based on the Tony Awards for local high school theater productions. For both dramatic and musical productions, Basie evaluators watch the show, review the performance as a whole as well as the actors and actresses, and then make their nominations.

Congratulations to the Queen’s Court Company on their Basie Award nominations! The Queen’s Court Company will perform live on stage at the awards show on May 19 at the Count Basie Theater for the Arts in Red Bank, where the winners of the 2026 Basie Awards will be announced.
