On March 27, Trinity Hall’s Junior Prom was hosted by the Community Life Council at Jumping Brook Country Club, and the night was a major success! Students gathered for a “Night In Bloom,” filled with dancing, dinner, and spending time with each other.
At 6 p.m., the dance commenced as everyone arrived dressed to impress. At the entrance, there was a poster that had beautiful flower designs all over it, as well as the seating chart and a pastel balloon arch with more florals to welcome everyone. The table scape was carefully curated by the junior representatives of the Community Life Council. The color scheme chosen was yellow and pink with hints of purples and blues as well. Each table had a yellow tablecloth, pink napkins, a hydrangea centerpiece, fairy lights and tulle fabric. Everything pulled together beautifully and made the room perfect for picture-taking!
For the first hour of the dance, hors d'oeuvres were passed around as guests arrived and explored the room while greeting each other and preparing for a night of fun. The DJ got everyone on the dance floor almost immediately, where nearly everyone remained for the rest of the night - except during dinner time. Junior Eva Shaughnessy stated, “It was great to see everyone interact with each other and spend a fun night of dancing! Mrs. Hill also took some great photos of everyone!”
The Community Life Council spent months planning this special event for their peers to enjoy and had utmost enthusiasm when talking about it, which got everyone really excited for the day to finally come. The junior council representatives, Brinley Ahmann '27, Francesca Bowie-Jones '27 and Savannah Greer '27, met with Ms. Sobieski many times throughout the months leading up to prom, picking a theme, visiting the venue, choosing the decorations and creating the seating chart.
Prom is a highly anticipated event that is always a highlight of junior year. The community thanks the juniors who organized this dance and so carefully put together this special night. Keep an eye out for more Community Life events before the school year ends!
