Trinity Hall Welcomes the Class of 2030 at Accepted Students Day | Monarch Media

On March 18, Trinity Hall opened its doors to the accepted students of the Class of 2030. The energy and enthusiasm in the halls were radiant as the incoming Trinity Hall Monarchs filled them. The current eighth grade students were able to meet their future classmates as well as upperclasswomen and faculty, as they undoubtedly began forging strong bonds within the school community.

The afternoon commenced with opening remarks and words of encouragement from the Head of School, Mrs. Kiernan. After reciting the school prayer, students were led in their first activity, Human Bingo. Once they were done, they went to their assigned rooms for three smaller activities: Connections, Ball Toss and Improv Games! As the girls went into the classrooms, they were greeted by current Trinity Hall students who helped guide them.

For many students, Accepted Students Day is where they form their first true bonds with their future classmates. Incoming freshman Olivia Aydin stated, “When I went into my second room, Connections, I saw all the relations I had with the girls in my grade which automatically put a smile on my face and made me super excited for next year!” In the breakout rooms, the current eighth graders were able to really connect with the people around them. This sense of community is what makes Trinity Hall very special.

After the breakout rooms, the participants went back to the Commons to enjoy pizza together. They were then presented with information regarding opportunities in the arts and athletics, as well as placement testing in the spring. The Commons were then opened up for activity sign-ups and the Instagram board while current student representatives continued to share insight about what it is like to be a Trinity Hall student. After that, the participants enjoyed cake while Mrs. Kiernan closed out the night, which was the perfect send off for the class of 2030.

This event is not only special for incoming and prospective students, but for the upperclasswomen as well. For Ella Paoni ‘28, it was especially important. “It was an odd feeling looking at all their faces, and realizing that I’m almost halfway through while they are just starting high school, but I’m so looking forward to meeting them.”

Accepted Students Day allows the current students to connect with the incoming class as well, continuing to strengthen the community. It is a very special night for everyone involved. “It was so special helping people find their new home because not long ago, it used to be my dream,” explained Mackenzie Miller ‘29.

Accepted Students Day continues to be a cornerstone event at Trinity Hall. We are so excited to welcome the class of 2030 into the Trinity Hall community.
