As Trinity Hall’s Director of Admissions, one of my favorite moments each summer is unveiling our new admissions theme.
To many people, a theme may seem like a catchy tagline or a marketing campaign, but at Trinity Hall, it’s much more than that. Every year, our admissions and communications teams spend months thinking, talking, brainstorming, and reflecting on one important question:
What is the message we most want families to hear about Trinity Hall?
Our annual theme becomes the thread that runs through everything we do. It shapes our events, publications, campus visits, conversations with prospective families, and even the stories we choose to tell. It’s our opportunity to capture, in just a few words, what we believe makes Trinity Hall such a transformative place for young women.
Two years ago, our message was “It’s All About the GIRL.” We wanted families to understand that every decision we make begins with what’s best for girls. Last year, we celebrated the leadership opportunities that define our school with “She Takes the Lead.” From the classroom to the stage, the athletic field to student government, we highlighted the many ways our students discover their voices and learn to lead with confidence.
This year, I’m excited to introduce our newest theme:
HER FUTURE STARTS HERE
Empowering young women to lead and succeed.
This theme couldn’t be more timely. If there’s one thing I’ve noticed over the years, it’s that families are thinking more than ever about the future. Parents naturally want to know that the choices they make today will prepare their daughters for tomorrow. They ask about academics, college placement, leadership opportunities, clubs, athletics, the arts, and how their daughters will grow into confident young adults.
Those are all important questions. At Trinity Hall, we believe preparing for the future means much more than building an impressive college résumé. Of course, we are incredibly proud of the outstanding colleges and universities our graduates attend. Our recent alumnae from the Class of 2026 are headed to an extraordinary list of institutions, a testament to their hard work and the education they received here, but college acceptance letters are only one measure of success.
Our real goal is to help each student discover who she is before she decides where she’s going. We want her to develop the confidence to speak up in class, the resilience to overcome challenges, the compassion to lift others up, the curiosity to keep learning, and the courage to pursue opportunities she may never have imagined for herself. Whether she dreams of becoming a physician, an engineer, an artist, an entrepreneur, a teacher, or is still discovering her passions, Trinity Hall provides the experiences, encouragement, and community that help her take those next steps with confidence.
We empower young women to become thoughtful leaders, engaged learners, compassionate citizens, talented athletes, creative artists, loyal friends, and kind, authentic people- that is why this year’s theme resonates so deeply with us.
Her future doesn’t begin when she receives a college acceptance letter.
It begins the moment she discovers what she’s capable of. It begins when she finds her voice. It begins when she’s challenged, encouraged, supported, and inspired by teachers who know her, classmates who cheer her on, and a community that believes in her potential. It begins here.
As we begin another admissions season, I look forward to welcoming new families to campus and sharing the many stories that bring this theme to life. I hope that when you visit Trinity Hall, you’ll see what we see every day: a school where young women are empowered to lead, succeed, and become the very best version of themselves.
