Celebrating Grandparents

A few weeks ago, students sent invitations in the mail to their grandparents and “grandfriends” (great aunts and uncles, special teachers, etc.) for our Grandfriends Day, an opportunity for our guests to attend a few classes and learn more about Trinity Hall. The invitations were simple and straight-forward, but the students included handwritten notes to their grandparents — a thoughtful step that may explain the high attendance of those invited.

The event, held on Thursday, April 26, was a huge success, with students proudly showing grandparents their lockers, introducing them to their teachers, and sharing class discussions (and their desks!) We enjoyed having these loving and intellectually curious individuals visit our school, but judging from the smiles on the faces of our guests, they enjoyed their time here just as much as we did. As Director of College Counseling Christina Bergamo said, “It was a truly special day enjoyed by the students and their guests alike!”

Thank you to all who attended!
