Letter from Theresa Kiernan, Head of School

Dear Trinity Hall Community,Theresa Kiernan Trinity Hall Head of School

It is with immense joy and pride that I write to you as Head of School, reflecting on a year filled with remarkable achievements and growth. I am continually inspired by the incredible generosity of our community, and I am grateful to each of you for playing a vital role in our success. This year, our annual financial reporting will be delivered in this digital format, which is both economical and time-saving. I hope you enjoy this new, highly curated platform. Look out for a new school magazine in the months to come!

It was my absolute privilege to lead the school into our celebrations for our 10-year anniversary. In August we celebrated with the premiere of our documentary, "Trinity Hall: Origins." Hundreds of community members joined us for this one-of-a-kind Trinity Hall event. The film is the story of how the school was founded, told by our founders and our founding head of school. The film gained momentum and was shown at the International Coalition of Girls Schools (ICGS) conference in Los Angeles, CA and the Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, NJ. If you have not seen the film yet, stay tuned we are planning one more showing during the 2024-2025 school year.

Last fall, we hosted an unforgettable Gala at the Shadowbrook that helped us raise an extraordinary $1.9 million for our building project, moving us one step closer to realizing our vision for the future. We also saw tremendous support for Mary's Fund for the Girls: Now and Forever, which provides financial aid to so many deserving students and strengthens our endowment for years to come. And, in an inspiring show of unity, we achieved 100% participation in The Fund for Trinity Hall from our board of trustees, faculty, students, and alumnae leadership circle — a true testament to our shared commitment to the school. With great thanks to many other donors to The Fund, we achieved our annual goal. The Fund allows us to continue to offer every student the special programming that is a Trinity Hall hallmark.

Our academic program is built on innovation and personal connection. The delivery of our academic program by our world-class educators is an area immediately impacted by your charitable giving. Our faculty continuously engage in professional development, bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives into the classroom. Beyond traditional learning, we were able to offer dynamic speakers and field trips to enhance our students' education through experiential learning, ensuring they are prepared not just for college, but for life. Over the past year, our sports teams rose to new heights and our arts program continued to flourish, providing opportunities for creative expression and excellence.

All of these accomplishments have been made possible because of your unwavering generosity. Kindness plays a role in the decisions we make here, and it also comes into play when people choose where to invest their time, energy and resources. We are deeply grateful for your past support, and as we look ahead, it is your continued partnership that will enable us to nurture this culture of kindness and sustain the innovative programs in academics, arts, and athletics that make Trinity Hall so exceptional.

With deep gratitude and excitement for all that's ahead, I thank you for being part of this incredible journey.

Sincerely,
