Biography
Since joining Trinity Hall in 2020, Dr. Cindy Sobieski has enjoyed supporting students both inside and outside the classroom through leadership development, student activities, and community engagement. In her role as the Dean for Student Life, Cindy oversees student leadership programs, clubs and organizations, community partnerships, and campus programming while working to create meaningful opportunities for every student to grow as a leader. She also teaches one section of AP Language & Composition and serves as the head varsity/junior varsity golf coach.
In the spring of 2026, Cindy earned a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy from Fordham University. Her research investigated how schools can cultivate equitable leadership opportunities by empowering students, strengthening educator practices, and creating inclusive pathways for leadership participation. She also holds a master's degree in educational leadership and instruction and a bachelor's degree in English and secondary education, both from The College of New Jersey, as well as a certificate in nonprofit and public management from Rutgers University. Her research on the role of sociograms to understand social interactions among students in the classroom was published in the Fall 2016 edition of The Educational Forum.
A Monmouth County native, Cindy enjoys spending time with family, attending live music events, playing golf, interior design, and volunteering in the community. She is thrilled for another exciting year at Trinity Hall.
