Biography

Hannah McCarthy is thrilled to return to Trinity Hall as a member of the faculty, teaching Engineering II. She is a proud member of the Class of 2021, the school’s fifth graduating class. During her time as a student, Hannah played on the varsity field hockey and softball teams and was the lead costume designer for the Crowning Crew. Her younger sister, Maebh, also attended Trinity Hall and is a member of the Class of 2024.
 
Hannah attended Purdue University, where she recently earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. While at Purdue, she gained hands-on experience in areas such as design, materials, and manufacturing, and she participated in collaborative projects that emphasized creativity and problem solving.
 
This year, Hannah is excited to share her passion for engineering with the sophomore class and inspire students to think critically and innovatively as they explore real-world challenges. In her free time, she enjoys watching TV and movies with her family, reading, and traveling.
