Cindy Sobieski » Biography

Cindy Sobieski is excited to join the Trinity Hall community this year. In her first year as an educator, she had the opportunity to teach sixth-grade ELA and adult night school, where she taught adults who were going back to school to earn a high school diploma before the state program ended. After moving up to eighth grade and teaching language arts for more than 10 years, she is thrilled to "graduate" and teach at the high school level again. For the 2020-21 school year, she is teaching English I and English II. She is also the head golf coach at Trinity Hall and will be helping as the sailing team coordinator for the fall season.
Cindy graduated with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education and an M.A. in Educational Leadership: Instruction, both from The College of New Jersey. Her research about the use of sociograms to improve social interactions between students in the classroom was published in the 2016 fall edition of The Educational Forum.
As a Monmouth County native, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, playing golf, and crafting. She also volunteers at a local nonprofit on the weekends.
