Michael Santos was raised in Toms River, NJ and attended Monsignor Donovan High School. Upon graduation, he studied theology and political science and played lacrosse and ice hockey at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, which then led to time spent studying peace and conflict resolution studies in the former Yugoslavia. His time overseas inspired him to continue his academic work between theology and conflict studies, so he moved to Philadelphia in order to work and study at Villanova University, where he ultimately earned his M.A. in theology with a concentration in ethics.
Michael taught theology and was the head varsity lacrosse coach at Donovan Catholic High School (his alma mater) for six years before enthusiastically joining the Humanities team at Trinity Hall for the 2021-2022 school year. He credits his time spent living in PA with catalyzing a fervent passion for the outdoors. So, if he's not on the lacrosse field or hanging out with Mrs. Santos and their dog, Cannoli, you will likely find him hunting, fishing, kayaking or hiking.
