Biography

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Mara earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from St. Joseph's College and a master's degree in curriculum development and instructional technology from the University at Albany. With over a decade of experience teaching in all-girls schools, Mara is dedicated to fostering engagement and immersing her students in cultural experiences. Outside of teaching, Mara is passionate about traveling abroad to immerse in new cultures and cuisines. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
