Biography
Melissa is a Spanish teacher and founding faculty member at Trinity Hall. Melissa teaches a variety of levels and courses, spanning from 9th grade to advanced Spanish classes. Prior to finding a home at Trinity Hall, Melissa taught at Oak Knoll, a Catholic independent school with an all-girls middle and high school.
Melissa earned a B.A. in Spanish from Muhlenberg College and an M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT and Madrid, Spain. During her time abroad and travels to follow, she made a conscious effort to immerse herself in as many different cultures as possible to be able to offer language students a more well-rounded perspective of language and culture. At Trinity Hall, Melissa serves as a global experience coordinator, world language team leader, faculty mentor program leader, and student adviser.
