Biography

John Polivka remains excited to be part of the Trinity Hall STEM team, teaching math I and math II. John is entering the third year of his teaching career after completing New Jersey's alternate route preparation program to become a certified math teacher. Prior to teaching, John worked at Morgan Stanley for 25 years where he managed a global information technology department that designed and coded global firm-wide systems to automate and optimize management processes.
 
John earned his B.S. in polymer engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his M.B.A. in finance at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business. John lives in Holmdel with his wife, two teenage sons and two golden retrievers. When not working, John enjoys playing, watching and coaching a variety of sports, with basketball, football and golf as his favorites. He also enjoys traveling.
