Biography

John Polivka is excited to be joining Trinity Hall's STEM team, teaching Math II to ninth and tenth grade students. John is just starting his teaching career after completing New Jersey's alternate route preparation program to become a certified math teacher. Prior to teaching, John worked at Morgan Stanley for nearly 25 years where he managed a global information technology department that designed an coded firmwide systems to automate and optimize management processes.
 
John earned his B.S. in Polymer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his M.B.A. in Finance at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business. John lives in Holmdel with his wife, two teenage sons, and two golden retrievers. When not working, John enjoys playing, watching, and coaching a variety of sports, with basketball, football, and golf as his favorites. He also enjoys traveling.
