Biography
Christina Advento was raised in Texas. As an adult she has lived all over the world, teaching at international and American schools in Cairo, Egypt; Hong Kong; Singapore; and Dubai, UAE.
Christina earned a B.A. in History from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and a master’s degree in Literature from the University of Michigan. A lifelong learner, she is currently working on her master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the I-school at San Jose State University.
Christina has taught many subjects in the Humanities, including American Studies, AP Comparative and American Government, World History, and AP Research. She is excited to be starting the AP Psychology program at Trinity Hall, as it is a course in which students can apply their learning in class to grow and flourish. She is also happy to be going back to her first love, English, teaching AP Language/American Literature.
Christina enjoys being back in the U.S. after 24 years, living at the Shore, and exploring New Jersey and the Northeast with her husband and two teenagers.
