Bio
Miranda DeRobertis is the athletic trainer at Trinity Hall. She provides services in injury prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
Miranda was born and raised in Bergen County. She graduated with honors from Rowan University earning her science degree in athletic training. Here she completed one year of residency at the secondary school setting, working under the current Athletics' Trainers Society of New Jersey President. She also completed one year of residency at the collegiate athletic level, primarily focusing on the Rowan University softball and field hockey teams. Upon graduation, she passed her board of certification exam, earning her ATC credential as well as obtaining her NJ medical licensure.
For the past three years, she has been the head athletic trainer for the New Jersey Hitmen Ice Hockey organization. Here she worked closely with New York Presbyterian/Columbia University's sports medicine specialist caring for athletes ranging from 10 years old to high level division one commits. Miranda gained significant experience in sports- related concussion care and emergency injury evaluation/ treatment.
In her free time you can find Miranda with her nose in some corny novel about mythological creatures.
