Biography

This is Lauren’s fourth year at Trinity Hall, and she is grateful to be a part of this community. She currently teaches English II and Spanish IV. She is also a lead teacher for the Integrated Wellness program, which incorporates her yoga teaching and mindfulness training. Additionally, she serves as the head coach of the JV basketball team, as well as an advisor for Trinity Hall’s literary magazine.

Lauren grew up in Rumson and attended Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, where she played four years of varsity basketball and three years of varsity field hockey. She graduated from the University of Virginia with B.A. degrees in English and Spanish. While in college, Lauren studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and completed two internships at Dateline NBC and HarperCollins Publishers in New York City. She then earned her M.A. in teaching from Monmouth University with certifications in English, Spanish, and English as a Second Language. Lauren is also a certified yoga teacher and has taught yoga locally to young children, adolescents and adults of all ages, both in studios and on the Sea Bright public beach. She is excited to welcome her first child this fall!
